The majority of sales in Whiston during the last year were semi-detached properties, selling for an average price of £121,150. Detached properties sold for an average of £177,000, with terraced properties fetching £83,000.

Whiston, with an overall average price of £129,393, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Rotherham (£134,572), but was more expensive than Treeton (£115,515) and cheaper than Wickersley (£254,155).
