Last year most property sales in Widnes involved semi-detached properties which sold for on average £152,611. Terraced properties sold for an average price of £101,438, while detached properties fetched £244,648.
Widnes, with an overall average price of £161,127, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Penketh (£158,885), but was more expensive than Runcorn (£130,861) and cheaper than Cronton (£271,152).
During the last year, sold prices in Widnes were similar to the previous year and similar to 2013 when the average house price was £157,987.
