Wilton, with an overall average price of £317,444 was more expensive than nearby Salisbury (£287,726), Alderbury (£265,258) and Amesbury (£237,546).
During the last year, sold prices in Wilton were 19% up on the previous year and 17% up on 2008 when the average house price was £271,394.
