Last year most property sales in Wilton involved terraced properties which sold for on average £240,016. Detached properties sold for an average price of £386,985, while flats fetched £167,000.
Wilton, with an overall average price of £276,052, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Salisbury (£270,519) and Alderbury (£275,621), but was more expensive than Amesbury (£257,952).
During the last year, sold prices in Wilton were 15% up on the previous year and similar to 2008 when the average house price was £270,344.
