Last year most property sales in Wilton involved terraced properties which sold for on average £202,250. Detached properties sold for an average price of £347,118, while flats fetched £145,661.
Wilton, with an overall average price of £239,189 was more expensive than nearby Amesbury (£207,808), but was cheaper than Salisbury (£253,370) and Alderbury (£281,028).
During the last year, sold prices in Wilton were 15% up on the previous year and 12% down on 2008 when the average house price was £270,344.
