The majority of sales in Windermere during the last year were flats, selling for an average price of £190,828. Detached properties sold for an average of £523,631, with terraced properties fetching £217,787.

Windermere, with an overall average price of £298,650, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Ambleside (£312,941), but was more expensive than Hawkshead (£252,500) and cheaper than Bowness-On-Windermere (£332,077).

Overall sold prices in Windermere over the last year were 8% up on the previous year and 10% down on the 2007 level of £331,805.
