The majority of sales in Windermere during the last year were flats, selling for an average price of £190,075. Detached properties sold for an average of £504,359, with terraced properties fetching £230,238.

Windermere, with an overall average price of £299,416, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Ambleside (£311,512), but was more expensive than Hawkshead (£266,667) and cheaper than Bowness-On-Windermere (£335,402).

Overall sold prices in Windermere over the last year were 9% up on the previous year and 10% down on the 2007 level of £331,805.
