Last year most property sales in Windsor involved terraced properties which sold for on average £517,394. Flats sold for an average price of £352,918, while detached properties fetched £792,304.
Windsor, with an overall average price of £531,994, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Old Windsor (£530,268), but was more expensive than Eton (£474,250) and Eton Wick (£343,340).
During the last year, sold prices in Windsor were 11% up on the previous year and 24% up on 2013 when the average house price was £428,489.
