Most of the sales in Winstanley over the past year were semi-detached properties which on average sold for £129,043. Detached properties had an average sold price of £197,647 and terraced properties averaged at £155,898.

Winstanley, with an overall average price of £158,274 was more expensive than nearby Garswood (£111,682) and Orrell (£138,810), but was cheaper than Billinge (£168,325).
