Most of the sales in Wrexham over the past year were semi-detached properties which on average sold for £126,838. Detached properties had an average sold price of £198,794 and terraced properties averaged at £103,889.

Wrexham, with an overall average price of £143,232 was more expensive than nearby Garden Village (£133,380), New Broughton (£119,323) and Gwersyllt (£136,017).

In the past year house prices in Wrexham were similar to the year before and 10% down on 2007 when they averaged at £158,644.
