The Carse stretches from Perth to Dundee and is flanked by the River Tay to the south and the Sidlaw Hills to the north. Perthshire is a county of contrasting
landscapes ranging from the high mountains and steep glens of the southern Grampians to the fertile farmland of the Vale of Strathmore and Carse of Gowrie.
There are excellent connections from Seasyde to all parts of the country with the national motorway network 12 miles distant at Perth. The M90 links to Edinburgh (circa. 50 minutes drive), while the M9/M80 links to Stirling and Glasgow, and the A9 trunk road leads north to Inverness.
