    Ferragudo is located around 10 minutes to the west of the resort and is one of the most photographed villages in the Algarve, thanks to its picture postcard fishing boats, traditional Algarvian houses and exceptional beaches. This small village has a number of restaurants, including those found along the riverfront where diners can watch as the catch of the day comes in with the local fishermen.

    Silves is a 20 minute car journey from Vale d'Oliveiras and is famed for its historic castle which sits proudly above the city that was once the capital of the Algarve. The cobbled streets, traditional restaurants, museums and shops selling products from local artisans makes it feel as if you are stepping back in time, while the annual Medieval Festival held in August is one of the most popular events on the Algarve calendar.

    Towards the west, is the city of Lagos, home to a rich maritime history which is reflected in the monuments, statues and museums dotted around the meandering streets. The local area is famed for its incredible beaches which include sweeping bays and stack filled coves.

    The coastline becomes more dramatic the further you travel west, providing a haven for surfers who flock to the often almost deserted beaches throughout the year.

    Our apartments have spacious interiors with living and dining area opening up onto the terrace or balcony, separate fully fitted kitchen with a comprehensive range of modern amenities including a microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, air conditioning in the living room and bedrooms, flat screen television with Dolby surround sound. Most are located on the ground level with direct access to the extensive and beautiful resort gardens. Those on the first floor have a terrace with relaxing and dining area.
