It is in a rural area 10 km from Torres Vedras, very close to Lisbon, that we will find Quinta das Lapas, a country estate classified as property of public interest which invites to contemplation and rest.

The property includes the main house ("solar"), several annexes, a chapel with 60 m2, gardens with about 15.451 m2 and a land with an area of 86.950 m2, occupied by forest and diverse vegetation.

The main house, consisting of three floors (ground floor, first floor and attic), dates back to the 18th and 19th century, with an implantation area of around 880 m2, with a total gross construction area of 1,760 m2.

The constructions maintain their original features, but the signs of the times suggest the need for careful integral recuperation and functional updating.

The property has several architectural elements of historical and artistic value, such as: parquet flooring, stuccoed walls, wood-lined ceilings, frescoes and tiles.

One of the remarkable elements of the property, the Chapel, from the end of the 18th century, beginning of the 19th century, located in the front part of the property and with a covered area of 60 m2 was object of some conservation works namely its wooden ceilings.

The agricultural and other support constructions, with an implantation area of around 445 m2, have in most cases two floors, estimating a total construction area of 890 m2. They are contemporary constructions similar to the main house.

In the courtyard with its 15.451m2 we can contemplate a fountain and various statues, the Land Agricultural has the area of 86.950 m2
