The land at Crylla can be found to the west of the village of Minions, which sits on the edge of Bodmin Moor and adjoins an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a World Heritage Site. The village of Minions is one of the highest points in Cornwall and also home to the ‘The Hurlers’, a collection of ancient stone circles. The village benefits from a Pub, Shop / Post Office, and Café, together with ample walking and outriding from the village in all directions.

The nearby town of Liskeard, some 5 miles to the south-east offers a wider range of amenities as well as a main line railway station and direct access to the A38 trunk road leading to the Ocean City of Plymouth in the east, and the town of Bodmin and beyond to the west.

Extending in all to some 141.43 acres, (57.23 ha) the land at Crylla comprises a ring fenced block of grazing land, set on the edge of Bodmin Moor.

Access is from a right of way to Gimble Mill and then over the adjoining moorland - please see where indicated on the land plan.

Important Information
Method of sale: The property will be offered for sale by Private treaty.

Basic Payment Entitlements: The land is registered on the Rural Land Register, but NO BPS entitlements are included in the sale. The Seller shall retain the 2023 payment, having made the claim this calendar year. There shall be no apportionment of moneys paid for the 2023 scheme year.

Stewardship Scheme: The land has been in a Mid-Tier Countryside Stewardship Scheme which ends on 31st December 2023. This makes it eligible now for Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) applications and Capital Grant Applications.
