Location
Hisaronu/ Ovacik is a popular holiday resort set in the mountains above the busy harbour town of Fethiye, and being a mountain resort it enjoys a lovely cool breeze throughout the summer lowering the temperatures slightly to those of the lower sea level beach resorts.
A very lively resort along central street hosting many quality traditional and international restaurants, and an array of shops selling everything from fine gold jewelry to handmade trinkets and gifts, several supermarkets, and an array of lively entertaining bars and buzzing nightclubs


Fethiye is the main town which is on the outskirts such as Tasyaka and Tuzlu have become very popular recently with ex-pats who invest in a holiday home or permanent home for retirement. These areas are also popular for investment opportunities. Fethiye public transport is extremely reliable with the local dolmuses running frequently, especially during summer. These dolmuses run to all the stunning beaches and villages spread out all over Fethiye. Fethiye is an extremely desirable location with long hot summers and much cooler winters but the beautiful surroundings and scenery never change. This is why so many foreigners and Turkish people come here and never leave.
The public transportation is excellent with local Dolmus going pretty much everywhere for a very reasonable price.
There are plenty of hospitals and schools all over Fethiye.
