This property is located in a rural hamlet on the rugged Hartland Peninsula, an area of outstanding natural beauty. It is close to the village of Hartland which is situated between the towns of Bideford and Bude.

The whole area remains wild and unspoilt and there are many beautiful and secluded beaches close-by including Welcombe Mouth, a popular and relatively quiet surfing spot. The South West Coast Path is also nearby and the Cornish border is also close at hand.

To the east, the ancient port and market town of Bideford is about 13 miles away and Barnstaple the regional centre for North Devon a further 9 miles.
