It is being sold fully furnished and equipped, offering a turnkey rental opportunity for the new owner. Full details of reviews of Canna are available on request.
The house has an inverted layout with the ground floor of the property beginning with a welcoming reception hallway with a WC and excellent storage off, and a beautiful staircase, handmade of solid oak, leading downstairs. At the end of the hallway the impressive kitchen is beautifully finished and is well-appointed with a range of cabinetry, Corian worktops, built in appliances and a Rayburn stove. The lounge is dominated by a large picture window which frames the most incredible view looking southeast over Tobermory Bay and Calve Island. Downstairs, a central hallway gives access to three versatile bedrooms, a utility room and a shower room. Bedroom 1 benefits from an en suite bathroom (which can also be accessed fron the hallway), while bedroom 2 could be used as a second living room and has French doors taking advantage of the view and leading out to the garden. Bedroom 3 is currently used as a dressing room but could also be used as a handy home office with excellent internet speeds. Outside, Canna has a lovely garden surrounded by mature trees and foliage and is mainly laid to lawn. The garden has been well designed with the outlook and sun in mind.

Canna sits in a beautiful elevated location with uninterrupted open aspects over Tobermory Bay. Th e house occupies one of the prime positions in Tobermory's conservation area and is within close proximity to the main street and harbour.
The Isle of Mull was formed by volcanic activity many millions of years ago and its northern coast is separated by the sound of Mull from the landmass of Ardnamurchan, the most westerly point in the UK mainland and is serviced by 3 ferry crossing ports. The island is world-renowned for its extensively varied wildlife, marine life, geology, landscapes and sea views and is a haven for walkers of all ages and levels of expertise.
Tobermory is the capital of the island, located in the northeast. It derives its name from the Gaelic ‘Tobar Mhoire’ meaning the well of Mary. The town was established in 1788 by the British Fishery Society and a small pier and customs house were the first structures to be built. Queen Victoria visited in the mid-19th century in the Royal Yacht and the royal route was thereafter used by steamship companies to advertise their cruises. Tobermory is famous for its brightly painted harbourfront houses, shops and restaurants with notable buildings including the clock tower, museum and Scottish whisky distillery. Today, Tobermory has many active clubs and societies covering a wide variety of interests, photography, a theatre, indoor swimming pool, a newly enlarged yacht marina, field sports centre and many more. Mull has featured in both Winterwatch and Autumnwatch BBC TV nature series, highlighting the wonderfully diverse wildlife on Mull.
