Description

Berry and George Estates was formed to make buying and selling your home much easier. To start with, we open 7 days a week like no other estate agent in Mold, we're also available out of hours and we'll provide you with updates when your home is available on the market to be sold and once a sale has been agreed.

We completely understand just how stressful selling and buying can be, we to have been there with you. We know that with the right family environment behind you all the way, you'll find out just how much easier it will be for you to buy or sell your home using Berry and George Estates.

Drury is such a peaceful village that it's very easy to forget that the North Wales Expressway is a mere half mile away. With a local dairy, a farm shop, pub and a café, even Broughton Retail Shopping Park is around 5 minutes away.....it doesn't get much better than this!

Situated along the main village road, this beautiful bungalow sits behind a knee-high red brick wall with an ornamental evergreen hedge and numerous other plants. These beautifully sculpted plants make this garden stand out from the rest and the low wall sets the boundary and protects the lawn from the street.

Entering into the bungalow you're greeted by a very handy porch that is brightly lit by the large window. The porch is welcoming, but also gives your home that degree of separation from the outside world. This is an ideal space for some cupboards and racks to throw your shoes and coats onto, because your hallway is always best left uncluttered.

Walking into the hallway, doors lead off to the bedrooms and family bathroom apart from the first door, which opens into the living room. The house is a beautiful cosy spot, but needs some modernisation and care to bring it back up to a wonderful standard. It's perfectly liveable, but there is always something you can do to make it MORE comfy than it already can be!

Large, airy, and beautifully lit by the large north-facing window, it's been lavishly decorated with sandstone-coloured carpets and taupe walls making the living room a warm and welcoming sight. Comfort oozes from here and permeates through this home, and with a living flame gas fireplace to keep you toasty on those chilly winter nights, it's a place to sit, relax and enjoy with family, friends or just on your own.....whatever suits you best!

For me the kitchen is the heart of the home, fuelling families for years gone by and for years to come. This kitchen will be no different and is more than capable of cooking up a feast. With ample storage space for electric utilities and room enough for a generous sized dining table, where upon you can serve your feasts, you will be wowing people in no time with your culinary delights. This room is decorated with a slate-style tiled floor for easy cleaning, a wood panel wall and ceiling, this is a place to entertain and entertain well.

Off the back of the kitchen is a small sunroom. Now this is not huge, but you could fit a couple of chairs or a small settee and a side table to create a lovely little spot for cozying up with a book in the winter or a glass of sangria and some sunglasses in the summer. A door takes you to the rear garden, but I'll come to that at the end....is that best till last I wonder??

We'll move back inside, through the lounge and to the bedrooms and bathroom.

Starting with the front bedroom, it's large enough for a double bed and there is even an inbuilt double wardrobe. Despite the preoccupied wardrobe space, there is still plenty of room for additional free standing drawers and furniture. Decorated in the same sandstone-coloured walls and with soft carpeting underfoot and is brightly lit with a midsize north facing window.

The rear bedroom is what some would regard as the 'Main' bedroom. Larger than the front bedroom, this room is decorated in the same manner as the first, but with built in wardrobes AND a built-in bed surround, capable of fitting in a double bed containing multiple cupboards and shelves. Looking out over the rear garden, this is a lovely room for many cozy nights.

Next up is the family bathroom. Tiled with white to extend the lighting in the room, this is tasteful yet subtle décor. It's not so much of a BATH room and more of a shower room, but with a shower you could hold a dance party in! It's a very spacious, light and airy room but it may be in need of a bit of modernisation, this bathroom could become luxurious with a few simple changes.

Now, are you looking for a home with a secret space where you can hide away from the world and create your latest masterpiece or write your next award winning novel? Then this home has you covered. In the hall is a drop-down hatch with an extending ladder, very simple and easy to use, even a toddler can show you how it works!.

A little climb up draws you into a converted loft space. A small, unobtrusive hall space leads through to a converted loft dormer. Backlit by the skylight fitted onto the south facing ceiling, you could hide away in this secret space for hours and work in absolute peace. With storage space built into the back wall and further access into the loft behind the ladder, you wouldn't have to worry about clutter as it can all be hidden away - as can you be!

Finally, let's take a look at the garden. From the impressive front lawn, a long red-brick drive connects to the garage and back yard. The garage is big enough to store a car in or maybe work on your favourite engineering projects! Plenty of space for workbenches and tool-racks, if that's your preferred trade.

The back garden is wide and well maintained with a high evergreen hedge surround to ensure your privacy. At the end of the garden is a summer house to while away your summer evenings with friends and family with a BBQ, or to stow away your deck chairs during the winter. Low maintenance is the key here but it offers a plethora of options to be creative if you desire.

All in all, this fabulous bungalow is a secluded spot of inspiration. While it is not without it's need for a bit of love and modernisation to bring it into the modern day, there is enough space to live a very comfortably with your family or a place to retire to and enjoy your years with hobbies and interests, it has something to offer everyone. With HUGE potential for restyling and more space than you can shake a stick at, you might just find yourself a little social gathering spot for friends and family alike to come and share their best times and favourite days with you.
