Periwinkle Hall is positioned in a delightful semi-rural setting in the hamlet of Perry Green at the back of Bradwell village, between the villages of Coggeshall, Stisted and Cressing, which offer a good range of amenities including village shops and public houses. The immediate northern villages are set amongst open countryside on the southern edge of the particularly pretty Colne Valley. The area surrounding Periwinkle Hall provides miles of open countryside and a network of footpaths offer delightful countryside walks.

The historic market town of Braintree is about 6.5 miles away and has a shopping centre, Braintree Village outlet, M&S, Sainsburys and Tesco, and Braintree Golf Club is conveniently positioned on the southern outskirts of Stisted. A wider variety of shops can be found at Colchester and Chelmsford.
