Hartfield is situated on the edge of Ashdown forest and an area of outstanding natural beauty. There is the forest way linear Park 200yds away, a great cycle route to Groombridge or Forest Row. Within 200yds of the house there is a full-time playschool and primary school. plus a doctors surgery and farm shop. The village also has a pub and village stores. 

Outside on the main road are bus stops to East Grinstead and Tunbridge wells plus buses to main secondary schools. 
Hartfield is also famous for Winnie the Pooh and has the Winnie the Pooh store and tea garden at the end of the village. Just about everything for a family home.
