"This has been a much loved family home. The garden in particular is fantastic in the summer. The sun hits the back of the house in the morning filling the kitchen with light and ends the day on the patio at the end of the garden, where it's really lovely to sit with the pizza oven cooking away looking back at the house.
The garden is full of wonderful plants including. 2 rare species of apple trees, (Worcester pearmain and a russet.) a Morello cherry tree, a very sweet green grape vine. The soil in the veg plots has been really improved over the last 5 years and is in great condition. There are also 3 wonderful mature David Austin roses and a wonderful low level Japanese acer palmatum which is emerald geen in the spring and bright orange in the Autumn. - (Can you tell how much we love the garden!)
Locally it's a great area. Forty hall and estate are 30 seconds walk away. It's a bit like having your own Downton Abbey on the door step. My top tip is to go the the live music evenings they have once a month on the organic farm there in the 15th century barn. The house is right on the edge of the green belt so there are endless walks and several really great country pubs worth exploring.
Also, not so exciting but really handy is that the house is only 5 mins from J25 so getting out of London is super easy."
