And in the opposite direction, Woking's station is a good destination because of its excellent theatre where many shows appear before playing in London. For those travelling further afield, London's Heathrow and Gatwick airports are around 17 miles and 30 miles respectively and there is good access to the M25, M3 etc. via the A3 about 3.5 miles away.
