The house stands at the top of the hill of the historic part of Ferragudo just 100 metres from the church with the beautiful view over the bay of the Arade River and the ocean. Ferragudo's cosy central square with cafés and restaurants is 200 metres' walk away. To the beach it is a 250-metre walk. The idyllic street is accessible to pedestrians. For residents, it is possible to occasionally reach the house by car, it is only 2.5 metres wide. Incidentally, there is usually plenty of parking at 100 metres.

The solid wood front door opens into the living room, which has air conditioning for possible cooling or heating and a wood burning closed fireplace. The terracotta-coloured tiled floor continues into the fully equipped kitchen. To the rear is a generous storage room. Double glazed doors open onto the south-west facing sheltered patio.
At the entrance of the staircase to the first floor is the guest toilet. The solid wood-clad staircase leads to a landing with a door to the bedroom. The spacious bedroom, which is air-conditioned for cooling or heating, has a window with shutters at the front and French doors with plenty of glass and with shutters at the back. The bathroom also has a window with shutters. The rear doors open to the sunny rear terrace with views to the blue ocean.
