This 92 m2 two bedroom flat is ready to move into. It is located on the second floor of a small apartment complex. Six flats use the same entrance. It is centrally located in Ferragudo: 500 metres from the attractive central square with cafés and restaurants and 500 metres from the beach. The flat can be occupied throughout the year and is, due to its location, within walking distance of the cosy centre and several beaches, and its interior, also suitable for rental.
Parking is possible in front of the door. The front door of the common entrance can be opened from the flat. With the blue wall tiles the entrance offers a welcome Portuguese atmosphere. The residential complex consists of three floors with on each floor a flat at the front and a flat at the back. The flats are accessed via the bright staircase with the wide natural stone staircase. This flat is located on the back of the second floor, with the living room and a bedroom oriented to the west.

The solid wooden front door opens into the atmospheric hall where traditional arches have been bricked up. An easy-to-maintain continuous light-coloured tiled floor was chosen for the entire flat.
The hall connects all the rooms. In the middle is the bathroom with, among other things, a toilet and a bathtub.
The doors to the kitchen and the living room have original facet-cut windows, so that even when the doors are closed, the connection between the rooms remains.
The kitchen is located next to the entrance hall and borders on the patio of the complex with a covered terrace. The kitchen is fully equipped. The kitchen, which is increasingly becoming a social area, has room for a dining table and chairs. There is also a generous practical storage cupboard, which houses the washing machine.
The living room at the front has sliding windows and a door to the covered terrace at the front, where in the afternoon and early evening it is lovely to stay in the sun.
Next to the living room is a bedroom that is connected to the terrace with sliding doors. The bedroom has a generous wall-high wardrobe.
The bedroom at the rear has a sliding window to the covered terrace near the kitchen. Also this bedroom has a large wall-high wardrobe.

On the 4th floor of the building you find a huge communal roof terrace. Here you can enjoy sun all day and you even have a distant oceanview. There is plenty of space to enjoy a nice party, organise BBQ's and to place some nice loungers.
The flat is not (yet) equipped with heating which can be realized in various ways. An effective and aesthetic solution is to apply electrically heated ceramic wall plates in the various rooms.

Ferragudo is a characteristic fishing village on the coast and at the mouth of the River Arade. In a pleasant mix, a total of just over two thousand Portuguese and "foreigners" from all over the world live here. The village, built around the attractive central square with its cafés and restaurants, has a small number of amenities. Unlike the large tourist resorts, it is pleasant here in winter and not too busy in summer. Ferragudo has a variety of beautiful beaches. In the immediate vicinity are the finest golf courses and tennis parks. On the other side of the river is the city of Portimão with all the facilities you could wish for, including a beautiful marina. A taxi boat sails several times a day from the quay of Ferragudo to the old centre, the marina and the large beach of Portimão. Within a 10-minute drive you will find large supermarkets and a modern shopping centre. Faro airport is a 45 minutes drive away.
