The Hutting Community do not allow the accommodation to be rented out.

After the first World War soldiers were granted camping rights by the landowner and this was the beginning with numbers increasing after the devastation of nearby Clydebank. Carbeth’s physical environment, pine forests, features including the Lily Pond, the Fairy Falls, the Sweet Water Spring along with its abundance of bird life, plants and animals creating a very tranquil place to live

The plots are leasehold for 20 years and this is renewable The ground rent is currently £1000 per annum
