It is located within the County Borough of Conwy, formerly being part of Gwynedd. The town is served by the A470 and the A546 both of which link with the A55 North Wales Expressway.

Being close to the town centre and the seafront (436m to the north), Deganwy Avenue is a popular and well established holiday accommodation destination.

The B5115, which is located circa 0.22 miles to the north of the subject property, is the main seafront road through Llandudno. To the east it connects to Conway Road which in turn provides access to the A55. To the west, the A55 provides access to Anglesey, the east Chester, the M56, the national motorway network and the main centres of Manchester and Liverpool.
