Brooklands is located along a no through private drive off St Marks Road, on the sought-after south side of town, away from main roads.

The historic Pantiles Georgian shopping arcade, known for its restaurants and cafes is approximately 1.4 miles away and, more locally, TN2, a popular store known for its wine, can be found on the Frant Road, next door to The Bull pub, both reached within approximately 0.7 miles.

There are several parks and open green spaces in the area including Hargate Woods with its extensive acreage of woodland and open space which is accessible from the property.

The Nevill Golf Club and Nevill Ground (tennis and cricket) are nearby in Warwick Park, water sports including sailing and fishing can be enjoyed at Bewl Water and off-road cycling at Bedgebury Forest.

Privately, there are preparatory schools including Holmewood House, Langton Green, Rose Hill in Tunbridge Wells and The Mead in Frant Road. At senior level options include, the boys and girls grammar schools in Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge and public schools including Tonbridge for boys, Mayfield and Pembury for girls and co-ed options at Sevenoaks, Brighton, Eastbourne and Bedes in Upper Dicker.

For the road network, the A21 links the town to the M25 at Sevenoaks to the north. There are good bus services to the schools and town from the Frant Road and the Centaur Commuter service to London can be picked up here too.
