Varennes Saint Sauveur is a small commune in the Saone et Loire department. Schools are within 10km, with a primary school in the village. Local shops and restaurants around 3km distance and there are supermarkets within 10km.
The nearest large town is the beautiful town of Louhans with its medieval buildings and St Peter’s church which is a beautiful example of Burgundian coloured roof tiles. Here you will find all you need in the way of shops and services, history, culture, and sports. Bourg en Bresse and Macon are larger towns both within easy reach.
