Located just off Liverpool road in Buckley, is this deceptively spacious three bedroom family home. It is still classed as Liverpool Road but with the benefit of being on a side road just off, protected by high conifers to drown out any road noise and provide complete privacy. At the rear of the home are more trees, so if privacy is important to you, then keep reading.

A large brick block paved driveway offers ample parking, although if you need more there's no passing traffic here, so parking on the road isn't a problem. Low level fences on either side of the driveway define your boundaries, with a small brick wall protruding just under a quarter width of the entrance to the drive.

There is an integral garage, but due to part of it being converted into a useful room, the front part is currently used by the present owners for more storage space, and the rear part we'll get to later.

Stepping through the front door we walk into a very large hallway. Usually when an estate agent says large you question it, but take my word on it, it's large! Kitted out with quality wood effect flooring, it's kept nice and bright thanks to the frosted window in the wall and front door.
There's space enough for coats racks (yes plural) and shoe racks, without feeling smothered!
Stairs rise to the first floor, obviously, with a door opening to a very useful storage cupboard underneath.

From the hallway a wooden door, with a frosted glass panel that helps keep it nice and bright, opens into the open-plan Lounge and Dining Room. This room feels massive thanks to the open square arch, if there is such a thing, that flows through into the dining area.

Currently in the Lounge area sits a huge corner sofa, that are so in at the moment, where lots of you can sit and watch telly, play quizzes or just generally socialise! That is, provided you buy your own corner sofa, or strike a deal with the owner to buy theirs as it's not included. Wood panels line a wall offering a sense of grandeur, while a decorative fireplace sits opposite to finish this room off nicely.

Moving through into the dining area, it sits handily right next to the kitchen and provides ample space for a six, eight or even larger table than that. Because of the large opening between the dining room and the lounge, you can host massive parties here in comfort and style, without compromise. Double French doors open out into the rear garden.

One idea could be, depending on how much cash you have available, to add an orangery onto the rear of the house. You'd then remove the French doors and have a larger area for entertaining. While you do that, you could also open up the kitchen and dining room, and really bring this home kicking and screaming into the 21st Century, put a nice central island in and find you have friends you never knew about. But for now, the house is perfect for entertaining, but isn't it nice to have options if you ever wanted more.

Through the opening, as there is no door, you enter the kitchen. Stylish floor and wall mounted storage units, cupboards and drawers, provide homes for all of you kitchen stuff, while work surfaces are attached to three walls and offer space for you to muster up some culinary masterpieces. They also provide room for your many 21st Century gadgets that you've become so reliant on today. A large window offers a nice view over the rear garden and trees beyond, which is handy as it removes the boredom whilst washing up.......but don't worry, there is an integrated dishwasher!

I forgot to mention that once upon a time there was a door from the hallway that opened into the kitchen. Now, this was blocked off to create more space in the kitchen but, if you extended out by building an orangery, you may well want to open this back up, and then block the opening from the lounge and dining room, so that you would then have a quiet separate lounge.....just an idea.

OK, from the kitchen, we walk into another room, a room that I wasn't expecting, a very useful utility room....and a very large utility room at that! It has a large work-surface with plumbing for a washing machine and tumble dryer below. There's space in here for a very large American Style Fridge / Freezer, or you can fill it up with whatever else you desire, or just leave it empty....again, choices are nice to have in a house like this. There's a door with a frosted glass window leading to the outside, but before we do that, there's another door into another room.

This room would once originally have been the rear of the garage but has been professionally converted into another useful living space. Currently used as a snug, for when the wife is watching her TV programme and I want to watch football, or it's for the kids when we are watching whatever we want, so they can go in here. Or, it could be an office, a games room or even a fourth bedroom. There is a window in here, so it does get light but this window looks directly into the utility room. Put some privacy glass in it, and no one will ever know what's going on in there!

From the hallway we walk up the stairs to the, you guessed it first floor.

At the top of the stairs is a large window that allows plenty of light in, there's nothing worse than a dark landing, and fortunately there's no chance of that here! There is also a loft hatch that opens to offer more useful storage space and also gain access if required.

The main bedroom and second bedroom are pretty similar in size, except one has a built in wardrobe. Both can accommodate large beds and freestanding furniture without the feeling of being cramped. One looks over the front aspect, trees, while the other offers views over the rear garden and trees, it's all very civilised here.

The smallest bedroom, which is still a decent size for a third bedroom, can easily accommodate a single bed, a wardrobe and a nice wall to hang your latest 50" telly on! This room has a large window facing out over the front.

Finally upstairs we come to the family bathroom. Tiled pretty much from floor to ceiling, in the places that matter anyway, you'll find the usual suspects in here. There's a panelled bath with shower attachment over it, a folding glass screen to help keep the water off the floors, a pedestal wash hand basin and then the obligatory toilet that we'd all be lost without! A frosted glass window lets plenty of light in and keeps any prying eyes out! To finish this room off, a lovely heated chrome towel rail keeps your towels nice and toasty.

Outside at the rear of the home is a large area of patio, ideal for a table and chairs, BBQ, Hot-Tub or whatever else you may desire. Another section is grass with a large storage shed sat on it. A low level fence lets you know where the boundary is, however the area of grass beyond the fence, apparently belongs to no-one.....make of that what you will. Trees and hedges means that you are very, very private, so rare now-a-days, especially in your new modern pokey estates!
