Location - Freckenham
Freckenham is a village in West Suffolk, situated near the River Lark and close to the Cambridgeshire border. It's approximately 3.5 miles southwest of Mildenhall and 4.5 miles northwest of Kennet, with the River Kennet, a tributary of the River Lark locally known as the Lee Brook, cutting through its centre.

St. Andrews Church sits at the highest point in the parish and dates back to the 12th Century, with regular services and events for all the community to enjoy. Freckenham Village Hall is also part of this wonderfully active community, hosting regular activities, film nights and facilities to hire.

Nestled in the heart of the village, The Golden Boar is a family-run, dog-friendly pub serving locally sourced fresh produce and real ale, and is home to eight guest rooms. The pub also hosts regular activities with something for everyone, including live music every Friday, a monthly charity quiz, festivals, and so much more.

There are further facilities in neighbouring villages and towns, including primary and secondary schools, shops, doctor’s surgeries and dentists, as well as enjoying close proximity to the iconic Thetford Forest Park, with its many walks and adventures for all the family. National Trust Wicken Fen Nature Reserve is also close by, one of Europe’s most important wetlands, supporting over 9000 species of wildlife.

We encourage all homebuyers to visit Freckenham to appreciate what this lovely village has on offer!
