The newly built orangery is accessible from this spacious family lounge, offering an extension of the living space bathed in natural light streaming through the windows.

Elegant traditional cornicing and a ceiling rose overhead pay homage to the home's heritage, a space where family members of all ages naturally gather for cherished moments.

Bathed in light from two sides and offering views over the entrance garden and driveway, this room, complete with a log burner, is perfect for entertaining or doubling as a playroom for younger family members. Accessed from under the stairs, the basement offers plenty of space for storage or expansion, ensuring a clutter-free environment for a growing family.

Ascending the carpeted staircase with its elegant banister leads you to the first-floor landing, where a spacious master double bedroom awaits, complete with an en-suite, fitted wardrobes, and a window offering picturesque countryside views. At the end of the landing, a staircase leads you to the third floor, where you'll find a third bathroom and a fifth bedroom with a cosy slope to the roofline, offering flexible living space that can easily accommodate a double bed.

We invited the sellers to share their insights on Yew Tree Farm...

When we first stepped into our home, we felt an instant embrace to the space and countryside feeling that first drew us in. Tucked away near Thornton Hough, we found Yew Tree Farm to be the perfect blend of a country charm however with accessibility to Heswall, Neston, and a welcoming local pub just a stones throw away.

Our family has grown and our children flourished here, thanks to the space and outstanding schools nearby. And for us, the convenience of great links to Liverpool and Chester with easy access to the M53/M56 made commuting a breeze.

We wanted to add our own stamp, however also wanted a home brimming with character. We've lovingly merged farmhouse charm with modern amenities for a family, and can see the future of Yew Tree Farm with the potential of a kitchen extension, the possibilities could be endless.

While the home is move-in ready for the next custodians of Yew Tree Farm, there's ample opportunity for personalisation. We have had a vision for a kitchen extension connecting the main home with with the detached garage or a gym in the log shed which would be a great addition. As we market Yew Tree Farm For Sale and aim to bid farewell, we leave the whispers of history that echo through these walls. The log shed in the rear garden is rumoured to have once belonged to Lord Leverhulme's gunsmith, a nod to the rich tapestry of our home's past and the local area.
