The property is a restored old Venetian farmhouse that has been extended. It is an impressive boutique guesthouse, which includes three independent residences that share a central traditional door with an enclosed courtyard and garden. The property needs minor repairs as it has not been maintained for some time. However, it will be available for sale in excellent condition and with all pending works completed by the owners.

The yard in the center of the property is fenced in order to offer complete privacy and in the frontage there is a high wall, which allows you to keep your pets there. At the frontage of the building there is also a second entrance that leads directly inside. This space is used as a storage space but has a wide door and roller shutters. Therefore with minor modifications it can be configured as a garage or as a commercial space or even reception. In the courtyard, a beautiful garden has been landscaped while there is also a built jacuzzi, which needs repair.

When we pass through the entrance we find the first two residences while the third one is at the back. The left house occupies the southern part of the plot, is independent and was built in 2006. The other two residences as well as the garage are on the place of an old renovated building. The southern residence is arranged over two levels. On the ground floor are the living space, a kitchenette and a bathroom while upstairs there is a comfortable bedroom with a balcony. The second residence is arranged over one level on the upper floor with access from an external staircase. It is a comfortable one-roomed studio with a kitchenette and a large private bathroom as well as an exit to an eastern balcony in its exclusive use.

The main residence is also the largest of the three. It also has two levels and many impressive Venetian and traditional elements. The ground floor follows the traditional Cretan layout, in which almost all the spaces are in a row and connected separately with the courtyard. The living space, the dining area and the kitchen are in separate rooms that are L-shaped. The living space has an imposing stone-built vaulted ceiling while in the kitchen there are an impressive high ceiling and two large arches in the center of the space. In the kitchen we find a large ottoman fireplace as well as a traditional wood oven, both of which have been perfectly maintained and are fully functional. Next to the kitchen we find another impressive room, which has not been used. It is, however, quite large and can accommodate two bedrooms with an office-loft in each one or it may even become an exhibition space. From the living space we go to a versatile room, which can be used as a bedroom, playroom, office or anything according to your taste and needs. Then, there is the bathroom of the residence. A wooden staircase leads upstairs to a bedroom with views towards the White Mountains and over Souda Bay. The rooftop terrace of the main residence is accessible from the bedroom or directly from the courtyard. It is extremely large and therefore it may accommodate a breakfast area or you can make more configurations. It is arranged over two levels and the views from the highest are impressive up the city of Chania in the background.

The village has several permanent residents. Within a short walking distance from the residence we find a bakery, a pharmacy, well-equipped mini markets, cafes, restaurants and some shops. The nearby beaches of Marathi and Loutraki are mainly family-friendly, have facilities with umbrellas and sunbeds and are a popular destination during the summer months. In a radius of up to 15 minutes' drive there are many more beaches of Akrotiri. The property is definitely an excellent choice if you are looking for a luxury home, just outside the city and close to the sea.
