The location 

The Buckinghamshire village of Stoke Mandeville is situated between Wendover and Aylesbury. The village has three public houses, The Bell, The Bull and The Woolpack.  The village is well known for its links with the famous Stoke Mandeville Hospital and the Paralympic Games. There is a large community centre with football pitches, open space, play park, tennis courts as well as a 'green gym'. There is also a local post office/shop and the stunning St Mary's Church. 

Stadium Approach forms part of a modern housing development situated in a convenient position on the edge of the village, just south of Aylesbury`s town centre and within close walking distance to Stoke Mandeville Hospital. The development is just over a mile walk to the Aylesbury town centre. There is a choice of train stations at Aylesbury Central and Stoke Mandeville offering mainline services into London Marylebone, both of which are just over a mile away. The local Primary School, William Harding Combined, is within short walking distance and the estate falls into the Aylesbury Grammar School catchment area.
