We are pleased to offer this captivating renovated water mill with swimming pool located in the centre of the Valle del Teggina in the upper Casentino surrounded by greenery and on the edge of the hamlet of Raggiolo, some 5km from Ortignano Raggiolo, 11km from Bibbiena and 41km north of Arezzo. The original mill, dating back to the 8^th century was renovated between 1997 and 1999 to reflect the original building in stone and chestnut and capture the rich history of the property. Internally, the mill has been extremely well finished with the main room developed around the 4 original stone parts of the mill with a kitchen area with fire and electric barbeque and beautiful wash basin. The sleeping area above, all constructed in chestnut wood provides a master bedroom, a second bedroom with twin beds and a spacious bathroom with shower. Externally there are two verandas which help you pass the day close to nature and close to the large wood burning oven and stone barbecue as well as an above ground swimming pool on one of the terraces. Heating for the property is from a wood burning stove with forced air and a heat pump, the latter guaranteeing during the summer months personalised air conditioning. Access to the property can be along a path of about 300 metres from the picturesque hamlet of Raggiolo, an ancient mule trail or with a suitable off-road vehicle. This is a beautiful renovated mill, ideal for those who love being close to nature and walking among the chestnut trail of the region. The mill has been rented for the past 20 years to those lovers of nature who want peace and quiet.

Linda appeared for RTE, Irish TV and for Channel 4‘s ‘A Place in the Sun’, where she accompanied Amanda Lamb along the shores of Lake Como by boat, to show her some of the stunning villas, including the one owned by George Clooney.
