Pinar de Campoverde is a very pretty and green village in the district of Pilar de la Horadada in Alicante. It boasts a fantastic array of local facilities including a great selection of bars, restaurants, bakery, library, satellite town hall office, petrol station, 2 pharmacies, health centre, private doctor, dentist, hair and beauty salons, car rental and even 2 vets. There are also 2 supermarkets a large Spar supermarket with freshly baked goods and butchers/deli counter. The other is a Overseas Imports who are the Spanish outlet for Iceland and Waitrose, great for stocking up on the familiar items from the UK.

If you like walking you will love the Rio Seco which is a hiking route along a dry river bed and conservation area. There are 2 trails, one 3.5km long and the second 10km long which takes you to the coastal area of Mil Palmeras. At the beginning of the trail there is a lovely restaurant with gorgeous views, an outdoor municipal swimming pool and sports facilities such as tennis courts, basketball courts and football pitches.
Unlike many of the coastal areas, this sought after village is busy all year round and is made up of a perfect mix of Spanish, British, German, Belgian and Scandinavian residents with a good balance between holidaymakers and those who live here permanently. Whether you enjoy chilling and relaxing in a peaceful clean environment, or walking, jogging, bike riding, partaking in quiz nights, bingo, karaoke, yoga, pilates or flamenco dance classes there will be something for you.

Located on the South East coast of Spain, just 40 minutes from Murcia International Airport, 50 minutes from Alicante Airport and a 10 minute drive from some of the region's best Blue Flag beaches including Mil Palmeras and Torre de la Horadada.
A 5 minute drive will take you to Lo Romero Golf Course and less than 10 minutes to the town of Pilar de la Horadada where there are a number of major supermarkets, a 24 hour health centre, Olympic sized swimming pool, sports centre and all the facilities associated with a bustling town including a lovely square next to the church of Nuestra Senora del Pilar.
