On the eastern edge of New Brighton, just over the bridge from Bryn-Y-Baal, is Moorcroft, a peaceful little road that sits in the middle of open farmland and is home to some beautiful houses. It's quiet here. Very quiet. And it's wonderful! No roaring of rush-hour cars and wagons, no heavy foot traffic wandering by, Just you, your neighbours and a lovely home to relax in.....and I mean lovely!

This house is warm and welcoming straight form your first glance. The gateless entrance opens with a red and black brick drive that spans the length of the house, flanked by a beautiful ornamental garden to the right. A tasteful blend of grass, a small and centralised stone tree display bed, capped with a raised rockery display against the front boundary wall. Its low maintenance and easy on the eyes!

The front entry way to the house is a welcoming and spacious. With an inner door to keep the heat in during the colder month, the room is finished with a lovely sandstone tile and paint theme, leaving it bright and airy throughout.

Into the front room, we find an open space that is generously lit by the wall spanning window at the front of the room. A subtle blend of muted emerald green and sand carpets make this room really pop. With space for a big and comfy settee and armchair, you have plenty of spectrum for lavishly furnishing the space. On the head wall sits a decorative fireplace. You could make it functional for a log burner or a biofuel fire if you wanted, but it serves a perfect purpose as a display!

At the back of the lounge is the kitchen. And what a kitchen this is.....stylish and beautifully finished, it's fit for a cooking marathon and making sterling meals aplenty. This area of the house has a different but wonderful style twist. The flooring has been stripped back, but instead of a classic parquet or herringbone wood floor, this area has an incredible herringbone terracotta tiles. It just screams of a very suave vintage style when paired with the gorgeous cabinets and the stylish countertops. To the back of the kitchen is a door to the rear garden, but we'll have a nosey at that later!

Off the side of the kitchen is the dining room. A more than generous sized room with that same flooring from the kitchen but with a more simplistic décor, it's capable of holding a good size dining table and a nice sideboard, creating the perfect ambiance for some splendid dinner-parties - which is what this home is all about!

Off the back of the dining area sits cozy little orangery. A lovely space that catches the afternoon sun and holds the heat in the cooler months, you could while away the days with a good book and a glass of wine or a hot chocolate (season/mood depending). A couple of double doors to the left lead out into the rear garden.

At the top of the stairs is the bathroom, and it's simple yet perfect in its design. A large bath with an integrated shower, all surrounded by easy wipe tiles and back plates and optimised utilities, the bathroom is exactly what is says on the tin!

The next room is the back bedroom, or bedroom two. A large comfortable double, with soft carpets and integrated wardrobes, the neutral décor makes the room light and airy as does the window overlooking the rear garden.

The next room is the main bedroom. The carpets are gone and the floor is back to the boards which have been painted and varnished! Easy to clean and makes for an contrasting style to the other rooms. Big enough for a super king bed and with space to spare, the room is comfort incarnate.

The last room on the tour is the box room. Sat over the stairs, it is smaller than the other two but still capable of being a bedroom. The family living here is currently being used as a dressing room/wardrobe and believe me, it looks amazing!
