Its territory is drained by the ravines of Salt and Canet de Xirles. The Guadaest river forms the border between Polop and Calliosa d'En Sarria.

One of the most important features of Polop de la Marina are the mountains of Monte Ponoig and ravines that run east. Mount Ponoig (1,181 m) 15 located west of Polop. It is a beautiful rough and rocky mountain range, from very steep slopes, covered with long scree and formidable crags and walls. The shade is populated with pines and oaks, and maintains continuity with the mountains of Puig Campana.
