Sleek and modern, the kitchen offers plenty of storage and features integrated appliances (oven, induction hob, dishwasher and fridge freezer) and a sociable dining space.  Off the kitchen is the utility room with with further storage and plumbing for white goods.

To the lower ground floor you’ll find the living room and principal bedroom suite, both of which benefit from the views to the back.

The living room is spacious and bright with bi fold doors opening on to a private terrace.  A wood burning stove sits in one corner for additional warmth during the chillier months.

The principal bedroom also enjoys access to a terrace and boasts an ensuite shower room.

Local area:

Strines is a small village nestled between the larger towns of Marple and New Mills.  A ‘best of both worlds’ location, it’s close enough to the city and transport links for commuters but well located for the Peak District with endless rolling countryside right on the doorstep.

Strines has its own railway station the stations of Marple and New Mills are just a short drive away - providing regular services into Manchester Piccadilly and out to Sheffield - plus bus services into Stockport and out to Hayfield.

The centre of Stockport is approximately 7 miles (11km) by car and the A555 has improved access to Manchester Airport, south Manchester and the motorway network.

The catchment primary school is All Saints in Marple or St Mary’s Catholic and for those with older children, your choice of secondary schools include Marple Hall School or Harrytown Catholic High School.

There is an abundance of green space in and around Strines and you will never tire of the many walks on offer – whether you enjoy a hike through the hills or a gentle stroll along the canal.
