On the north coast of the Peloponnese, approx. 60 km east of Patras, directly on the blue sea is the small place Paralia Platanou, with beaches, shops, numerous taverns and cafes. A few kilometers inland, above the sea, stands the original village of Platanos, with picturesque narrow streets, old houses, two taverns and a local bar.
