Description

The owners love….

When I first viewed this property I was blown away by the area, peaceful, tranquil and full of greenery but still close enough to London to enable me to get there quickly every day. The house had everything I was looking for so I knew there and then this was for me.

Upon entering you are greeted with a welcoming hallway leading into the well-equipped kitchen. During my time here I have refitted the kitchen to give the clean finish you now see. The kitchen over looks the front aspect and has natural light flowing through.

I have a dining room which was formerly the garage which I converted. It is perfect to host friends and family. The flow of the house works very well for entertaining as well as general family life.

I have a sizeable living room: the perfect place to relax and unwind. Leading from here is my conservatory which I use as a home office. It is a very calming place to work.

Leading outside is my private enclosed rear garden, easy to maintain with seating to relax and soak up the sunshine.

Upstairs you will find three sizeable bedrooms with ample storage space.

I have a family bathroom with bath and overhead power shower. I have updated the bathroom with modern feature tiling and glass to give the contemporary design you can see today.

I have a driveway to the front.

My home is set in the beautiful Whitwell village. It is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts. The sought-after Hertfordshire village boasts a strong community spirit, complete with a local pub, recreational ground with sports facilities, and a village hall with lots to offer all year around. You'll also find plenty of local clubs, an NHS doctor's surgery, a local shop and Post Office, equestrian facilities, and a charming Tea Room for coffee and cake.

Schools: With St Paul’s Walden Primary School only a few minutes walk away and Kimpton Primary School in the next village, both schools are welcoming and offer great educational opportunities for young children. Plus, Whitwell is in the catchment areas for multiple secondary schools with excellent Ofsted ratings in Hitchin, Harpenden, and more.

Agents opinion – when I first stepped foot into this beautiful home I felt so relaxed. It is set in a truly picturesque setting. The owner has procured planning permission for an additional bedroom/en-suite in the loft, to change the conservatory to brick and extend upwards to create another storey/bedroom and permission to extend the kitchen at the front. There is potential to alter this home which is approved. This will add considerably more space and only add to the beautiful aesthetic already in place. VIEWING HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
