Georgeham is a charming village, desirable to many due to its fabulous situation with several beautiful surfing beaches. The wonderful sandy beach of Saunton and the famous surfing beach of Croyde are both within a 6 mile drive and the award-winning Woolacombe Beach, just under 8 miles away, is widely recognised as one of the best beaches in the UK. Located on the North Devon coast, between Croyde and Ilfracombe, the 3-mile sandy beach is popular with surfers and families looking for a traditional seaside experience. It should be noted that the North Devon coastline was designated a World Surfing Reserve 2022 and will join California's Malibu and Santa Cruise and Australia's Golden Coast and Manly as some of the world's best locations to go surfing.

There is a local village store/post office and well-regarded bistro pubs, 'The Rock Inn' and 'The Kings Arms' with excellent food and a regular programme of musical entertainment.

An excellent primary school centrally located in the village and just along the road from the property. Secondary education is provided in Braunton or Ilfracombe. A range of everyday amenities can be found in Croyde village, with further more extensive facilities in Braunton and Barnstaple.

Golfers have a choice of two challenging championship courses of Saunton which is just a 5 - 10 minute drive away or the Links course at Westward Ho!

The North Devon Link Road gives convenient access to the region from Barnstaple and provides a direct link to the M5 at Tiverton, junction 27. The rail link at Tiverton Parkway railway station, offers regular mainline services to London Paddington in just over 2 hours.

Directions to Find:
Follow the A361 to Braunton and at the traffic lights in the centre of the village, turn left onto the B3231 signed to Saunton & Croyde. Continue on this road for approximately 4.5 miles through Saunton and into Croyde. Continue through Croyde Village bearing right in front of New Coast Kitchen, onto St Mary's Road signposted to Georgeham. Follow this road for approx 1.5 miles. Upon entering Georgeham, take the left turn on Netherham's Hill just after the village hall and Box Cottage will be found very close to the top of this road on the right hand side.
