Lodge 20 is a luxury, bespoke designed, cedar clad eco lodge built by local family owned business, Sitka Lodges. Situated to the edge of Sandgate Park, this immaculately maintained lodge is surrounded by open grassed areas with mature shrubs and trees, bordering onto open farmland. With the addition of a semi wraparound, split level decking, there are many options for socialising, dining and entertaining with family and friends.

The lodge is approached via slate-chipped parking for several vehicles alongside a grassed area. Slate steps to the front door, which opens into an entrance hall, with fitted cupboard, providing space for coats, shoes and household equipment. The hall flows through into the open plan living room, and down towards the bedrooms and family shower room. The open plan living room is a fabulous light and airy reception space, bathed in natural sunlight from triple aspect windows and glazed bi-folding doors opening onto the large decking area. The design of the room has created three separate areas, with a Morso wood burning stove within the lounge/diner and a central island separating the kitchen from the dining room.

The kitchen is fitted with a range of painted units, and a complementary solid wood worktop with matching splash backs and bespoke oak shelving. Incorporated within the worktop is a Belfast sink and a four ring Bosh gas hob. Integrated Bosch appliances include an electric oven/grill, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. 

The bedroom accommodation is at the opposite end of the lodge and benefits from generous proportions. The master bedroom is a fantastic sized double room, complemented with a walk-in wardrobe and en-suite bathroom, with direct access to the decking, ideal for morning coffee. The second bedroom has large double proportions, complemented with a built-in wardrobe. The third bedroom is also a double, which has been set up as a twin room and also benefits from a built-in wardrobe.

The stylish shower room includes a walk in enclosure with rainfall and wall mounted shower, WC and wash hand basin with vanity storage below. There is a large built in cupboard with shelving for towels, linen and toiletries and space below for a washing machine and dryer. Alongside is a cupboard housing the gas fired boiler and more storage.

Outside, the lodge enjoys a large decked seating and dining area, which extends in front of the main reception room as well as to the rear. There are surrounding grassed and wooded areas and an area for a fire pit located for evening drinks. The lodge benefits from a large metal shed ideal to accommodate bikes and outdoor furniture.
