Description

Within a grand building in Crouch End, this two-bedroom raised ground-floor flat has been completely redesigned for modern living, inside and out.

Brickworks Says - Some homes get it just right, and this elegant apartment is one of them. Every inch of this two-bedroom home has been cast over with a design eye and a masterful use of materials, bringing drama and maximising light and space. Every room is packed with visual appeal. The open-plan living space has a sleek white and marble showstopper kitchen, with the dining table nestled in the bay, looking out over the park through the arched windows.

Both bathrooms would feel at home in a boutique hotel, and glass has been cleverly used in the back bedroom to create aesthetically-exciting angles and pull in light. From here, concrete steps lead to a secluded garden, with a dining area at the front and a garden studio towards the back. It makes the perfect green hideaway for work or rest.

Hornsey Rise is close to the delights of Crouch End and the neighbourhoods surrounding it, including Highgate and Tufnell Park. Never more than a few minutes from a decent brew, whether you crave coffee or a cold beer, and there is a growing number of delicious eateries, too. Big Jo, sister to Newington Green’s Jolene has recently opened up just down the street. Green spaces are also abundant, with Finsbury Park, Waterlow and Hampstead Heath nearby, and multiple transport options are available when you need to get further afield.

The Owners Say - We were blown away by the light flooding through the glass boxes into the bedroom and the imposing ceilings when we first came to view this flat. Three years later and they still have the same effect on us.

We have loved exploring the endless array of independent shops and restaurants a short walk away in both Crouch End and Highgate, as well as Sunday mornings spent walking the dog along Parklands or across Hampstead Heath.

While our next chapter takes us outside of London, we will always appreciate the time we were fortunate enough to call this place home and are sure to miss the stylish cafes, incredible bakeries and fresh-roasted coffee to be found on our doorstep.
