At some stage, the Chapel was extended to the rear with a two-storey addition, providing lower ground floor space, together with Assembly Room and Vestry to the first floor. To the rear of the Chapel is a raised Altar, beyond which are two rooms leading to the Assembly area and Vestry. There is a kitchen and WC, and external staircase leading to the rear grounds. Externally, the property is set back from Alfreton Road, and a brick wall forms the boundary to the pavement, with gated access and a ramp leading to the front entrance. There is a passageway to the side, and to the rear is a parcel of land with a southerly aspect.
