The Location 
Lenno is an important centre of the western shore of Lake Como, situated between the promontory of Lavedo and to Portezza. Lenno is the home of Villa Balbianello a beautiful eighteenth century villa owned by the FAI from 1988 is famed more recently as the location of Hollywood movies such as Star Wars, Ocean Eleven and Casino Royale.
Lenno has many facilities such as restaurants and bars, supermarkets, banks, shops, pharmacy, and a beautiful lido overlooking the wonderful Venus Bay.
Every Tuesday Lenno plays host to a very picturesque Market that runs along the lakeside and where shoppers can find a variety local products.
