Retail Trust provides a range of services to people and their families who are working in or retired from retail and associated businesses. These are businesses linked to the retail industry such as sales, manufacturing, wholesale or distribution or retail goods and include fitting services, security and finance.



You must be retired, be over 55 years of age and have at least five years service in the retail or associated trades. There is no restriction on when the service took place and can be a combined service of five years with a spouse or partner. The service of a close family member could also be used if they are currently working in retail where that worker is the main carer of the applicant. If someone has retired early due to ill health or accident they can also apply.



You can apply on behalf of yourself, your partner, children and other dependants (parents, grandparents and children, a brother, a sister or an aunt or uncle where the retail worker is the primary carer). Retail Trust will accept your own service or that of your partner, even if your partner is deceased.
