The PropertyCurrently arranged as two properties, for the purpose of holiday lets, the properties could easily be turned back in to one private residence or alternatively the smaller cottage could continue to be let out. The property is a former barn dating back to 1822 which was converted in 1995 and more recently a further extension was added. There are numerous original features, most notably the substantial floor and roof timbers and various internal stone walls which add to the character of the property.
The accommodation is arranged over two floors and provides a light, triple aspect, sitting room with open fireplace, good size kitchen/dining room with an extensive range of fitted units and appliances, in addition there is a utility room with rear access and cloakroom. On the first floor the three double bedrooms are accessed off a large landing, each bedroom is en-suite with two shower rooms and a bathroom.
Inchcail Cottage
Adjoining the house, Inchail Cottage is currently successfully let as a holiday cottage but was, when originally converted, part of the house. There is significant flexibility offered by the cottage as it could easily be returned to form additional accommodation for the principal house, used as an annexe for relatives or continue to be let out.
The cottage has its own front door leading to a most attractive and light sitting room enjoying a high ceiling, French windows and a wood burning stove. Also on the ground floor is a fully fitted kitchen/breakfast room, utility (which originally linked into next door) and bedroom two with an en-suite shower room. A single flight of stairs leads to the principal bedroom with an en-suite bathroom.
Outside
Each of the properties has a private gravel driveway with access off the main road, whilst the drive to the main house also continues to the rear of the property and onto a barn.
The gardens to the house are principally lawned with a number of mature trees. Beyond the house and barn is a separate fenced paddock of about 1.288 acres (0.521 ha) which is accessed via a five bar gate. The barn could easily be replaced with stabling should a purchaser wish to keep horses.
