Gareth Evans fell in love with the newly-built, architect-designed house for its unique appearance and beautiful interiors.
But before he had even had the chance to move into the Mumbles property, his personal circumstances changed and he took the decision to put it back on the market.
Deciding to sell this house has been heart-wrenching - this is my dream home, he said. But my partner is in Pembrokeshire and we have decided that if we are going to make it more permanent I really need to be living there.
He added: The first time I saw this house I fell in love with it. Mumbles is a wonderful place - the St Tropez of Wales - and this property is a one-off. It is a beautiful, unique home that would be an incredible place to live.
The spacious, three or four-bedroom house has a curved exterior, with large windows and white walls, and a conical slate roof.
It is not unlike a French or Spanish villa from the outside - it was the most stunning home I had ever seen, said Gareth. Inside, it reminded me of a cruise liner, with white walls and lots of granite and aluminium.
You step into the huge hallway and there is a semi-circular, solid granite staircase, with aluminium rails; it all feels very bright, open and modern.
Much of the sleeping accommodation is on the ground floor of the house. Here guests will be able to enjoy three bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite bathroom.
There is also a further bathroom and access to the garage on this level. One of the bedrooms here could be used as a study if necessary.
FLOODED WITH LIGHT
The impressive, curved staircase sweeps up to the first floor, where the master suite and the main living area are situated.
You come up into this wonderful, huge open area, with a slate fireplace and granite tiles, he said. This is where you would relax in the evening or welcome friends if you were entertaining.
This drawing room area, which has a vaulted ceiling and oak beams, is open into the kitchen and breakfast room, offering the ultimate in open plan living. Thanks to its large windows, it is flooded with light and enjoys a sense of being high above the rest of the world.
From this part of the house there are views out over the tops of the trees. It is almost as if you are in the canopy yourself. It really is incredible.

The kitchen is fitted with top-of-the-range Neff appliances, including a coffee maker, steam oven with warming drawer, microwave, ceramic hob and integrated dishwasher. There is an Amana fridge freezer and a Liebherr wine cooler.
This has all the mod cons you could wish for. It would be a superb place to hold a party, he said. There are granite work surfaces and there is a big, curved island.

At the far end of the house on this floor is the master suite, Gareth explained. This is just jaw-dropping as well. It has a vaulted ceiling and semi-circular walls, with windows all the way around.
You can imagine waking up here in the morning, and looking out over the foliage and taking in the panoramic view.
This room also has an attractive en-suite bathroom, complete with walk-in shower and a granite surface.
I do feel very sad about not having the chance to live here, he admitted. The house itself is just amazing and this part of Wales is fabulous, with its surfing, golfing and wine bars.
He added: This house offers more than just a place to live - it offers a complete lifestyle.
The front entrance leads into a breathtaking galleried reception hall adorned with a beautiful stone tiled floor with under floor heating.
