Continue on this road until reaching the twin town of East and West Looe and proceed over the bridge as signposted to Polperro. upon reaching Polperro, at the roundabout at the entrance to the village, park in the public car park.
Walk down the main street, or travel by the taxi/bus service. At the termination of transport continue into the village and at the point where the road priority turns sharp right continue straight on and then rise up Talland Hill. Within a very short distance the gateway to Dolphin House will be found on the left hand side. The entrance gateway to Joan's Cottage is to be found off this footpath. It is important to note that the house cannot be seen from Talland Hill and entrance to the path is by prior arrangement only.
