•To the west is the summer garden centred on a croquet lawn bordered by mixed beds featuring shrubs and a varied range of herbaceous planting. This garden starts in March with its tulips and continues through the summer before its rich autumn colours end the year in November.
•The walled sunken Japanese garden is to the north west.
