The PropertyFrideswide is believed to date back at least 200 years and comprises a detached period Cottage having traditional brick elevations under a pitched and ½ hipped clay tile roof.
In recent years the present owners have sympathetically extended the property and at the rear the Cottage has four distinctive tiled ‘eyebrow’ windows which add considerably to its architectural appeal.
A new garage block has also been added in a matching traditional style incorporating a useful Home Office/Studio Room and a separate Workshop.
Throughout the property there are numerous attractive features including fireplaces, ledged and braced doors and exposed beams.
The Sitting Room takes advantage of elevated views over the garden and surrounding countryside of the Pang Valley.
On the first floor there are three good bedrooms together with a bathroom. A Shower Cloakroom on the ground floor is used by the master bedroom via a secondary staircase.
Overall this is a most desirable character property in an enviable rural location, and has been particularly well maintained.
