I have lived in a number of different places in north and east London but Avon Road has definitely been the friendliest and will be the hardest to leave. Over the last eleven years this house has provided a great home, easily accommodating changing family needs as well as being able to provide space for visiting friends and relations. It is large and flexible, and besides the 6 bedrooms, four receptions and three bath/shower rooms it has a small cellar and a loft space for extra storage. Over the years the study has also been a utility room, an office and a Granny room. The garden, backing onto a park, is an oasis from London bustle. It’s a great place to relax or for the kids to play and given the mature shrubs and proximity to the forest it has lots of wildlife including occasional visits from woodpeckers. Transport links are good. Wood St station is only a four minute walk away and from there it is 2 minutes to the Victoria line at Walthamstow or stay on the train and it’s a further 17 minutes to Liverpool St station. The 230 bus will drop you off outside the house and Snaresbrook on the Central line, is within walking distance.
